UI Designer with Front-end Development Experience (hybrid)

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced UI / UX designer with front-end development experience to join our team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing designs for custom web and mobile products for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project manager, engineers, and marketers to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet client requirements. This role is open for NJ-based candidates that can work on hybrid-basis or remote candidates based in the USA.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional mobile and web UI / UX design experience working with software product or consulting companies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.
• Experience with front-end development languages such as Angular and Bootstrap will be a plus.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating custom graphics and icons specific to business requirements.
• Must be a creative designer that can transform software requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a small team environment with minimal supervision
• Experience with WordPress development, a plus but not required

Responsibilities:

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Create custom icons specific to client’s business requirements and digital products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet client requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, and incorporate them into your designs.
• Communicate design concepts and decisions to client stakeholders and team members.1

Additional Details

This is a direct-hire hybrid position available for both full-time and part-time candidates. Position offers $60,000 - $75,000 salary or $35-40/hr rate based on experience level and additional benefits.
